One point demand

One demand made by protestors is that PM Hasina resign.

A demand put up by demonstrators is PM Hasina’s resignation.

The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement’s main organizer, Nahid Islam, has said that the movement’s only goal is now the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her government.

In order to emphasize their demand, he added, the coordinators would begin enforcing the non-cooperation campaign on Sunday.

Nahid delivered the statement at a sizable demonstration at the Central Shaheed Minar on support of the platform.

Thousands of protestors from throughout the city flocked to Shaheed Minar in the midst of a torrential downpour to join the demonstration against the murders that occurred during the quota reform demonstrations. They demanded the release of all students and others who had been arrested and incarcerated.
There were demonstrators crammed into every available space around Shaheed Minar.

Unfazed by the bad weather, the gathering becomes larger as more people show up to show their support and demand justice.

The Anti-Discrimination Student movement’s coordinator, Asif Mahmud, sent an online message encouraging students to meet at Shaheed Minar on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Protesters from the neighborhoods of Dhanmondi, Rabindra Sarobar, Press Club, Paltan, and Badda started to march towards Shaheed Minar around 2:30 pm.
