Dhaka equities crept up in the morning trade Thursday, confirming investors’ buying sentiment after the market sustained significant losses in previous weeks.
The benchmark index, DSEX, rose 51.10 points, or 0.88 percent, to 5847.22 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange as of 12:06 p.m.
The indices also rose as buyers outperformed sellers.
At 12:06 p.m., shares worth Tk 204 crore were exchanged on the main bourse.
