RAB arrests Regent Group Chairman Shahed from Satkhira border

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Regent Group Chairman Md Shahed from Satkhira border on early Wednesday.

Lt Col Ashik Billah, director (media) of Rab Headquarters, told that the prime accused of the Regent Hospital scam case was arrested in a drive conducted in Devhata frontier of Satkhira around 5:30 am while he was trying to flee to India by boat.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an overnight drive arrested Regent Group Chairman Mohammad Shahed, the prime accused in issuing fake COVID-19 (Coronavirus) test report scam, from Satkhira frontier area early today.

Earlier, the anti-crime elite force RAB in another drive last evening at a house in Kapasia of Gazipur nabbed Regent Group Managing Director Masud Parvez, the close aide of Regent Hospital owner Mohammad Shahed, over coronavirus test reports scam.
