The global death toll from coronavirus climbed to 451,387 as of Thursday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.
Besides, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases has gone up to 8,406,062.
So far, 4,415,832 patients have recovered from the disease globally.
According to JHU data, Brazil and Russia have come up to the second and the third positions after the US with 960,309 and 553,301 confirmed cases as of Thursday.
Among the countries, the US has been the worst-hit with the highest recorded deaths of 119,941 patients and 2,234,471 confirmed cases.
In Bangladesh, 98,489 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 1,305 people died and 38,189 patients have recovered.
Coronavirus cases were first reported in China December last year.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
