Bangladesh remained wicketless with day’s play going into the third-session on day four as Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne and Dhananjaya de Silva registered respective centuries on in the ongoing Test against Bangladesh at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Sri Lanka trailed by 84 runs.
Karunaratne struck his 11th Test century to keep the side aloft after Sri Lanka lost three quick wickets on day three.
Till the filing of this report, Karunaratne was batting on 160 with Dhananjaya on 117 as Sri Lanka reached 400-3, trailing by only 141 runs. Bangladesh declared their first innings on 541-7.
