Bangladesh today recorded 41 coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths and 3,057 fresh cases in 24 hours. Raising the total number of infections to 210,510.
During the period the country registered death increased total number of fatalities to 2,709.
Health authorities reported that another 1,841 people have recovered from the disease in a day, taking the total number of recoveries to 115,397.
Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Nasima Sultana came up with the disclosure at its daily health bulletin.
Nasima Sultana said a total of 12,898 samples were tested.
She added a total of 10,54,559 samples have been tested so far.
Against the total number of detected cases, the recovery rate is 54.82 percent and the mortality rate is 1.29 percent in the country.
