Thirty more patients died of coronavirus and 2,828 people were newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
Additional directorate general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Nasima Sultana disclosed this during an online briefing on Friday.
Besides, 2,828 people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 60,391.
As 643 patients recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recovery reached 12,804, she said.
In the last 24 hours, 50 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 14,088 samples, Dr Nasima Sultana added.
Meanwhile, the government has reopened everything amid escalation of coronavirus infection in the country.
Bangladesh first detected coronavirus on 8 March and a patient first died on 18 March.
